The Bahamas have just come out with their new CBDC, the Sand Dollar, which is something to be celebrating! China and Thailand are working on delivering their crypto to the masses and now the Bahamas follows suit with their Central Bank Digital Currency. The only question is now, why is the United States so darn slow on adoption? You would think after this last election, blockchain would be on everyone's lips - if for anything, voting - but in terms of developing the Digital Dollar project, it looks like an administrative mess with many cooks in a huge kitchen.
